Job description

The Master Data Management Specialist is responsible for implementing the administrative activities related to the Master Data Management of Darling Ingredients companies worldwide. The MDM-specialist manages master data, currency and service related information in JD-Edwards. The MDM-Specialist has to be able to look critically at data and processes and to come up with innovative solutions.

We are looking for a candidate which is available for 28 hours a week (Tuesday, wednesday afternoon, thursday and friday).

Tasks & responsibilities


Manage and optimize master data
  • Enter, check and monitor the master data records (including addresses, items and currency rates) 
  • Manage (JD-Edwards) Approval routes 
  • Optimization, development and implementation of control reports on the master data tables 
  • Recognize inconsistencies in the data supplied 
  • Upload bulk requests in the master data tables 
  • Function as a helpdesk 


Working methods and procedures
  • Ensure the correct processing and archiving of documents in accordance with the applicable procedures and working methods. 
  • Active participation and delivery of improvement proposals for the processes and working methods

Qualifications

  • MBO / Vocational degree in business, IT or related.
  • 0-3 years of relevant working/intern experience, preferably in an international setting
  • Good knowledge and experience in ERP systems, preferably JD-Edwards
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Attention for detail
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must
