Diamond Green, the largest renewable biofuel facility in North America, is transforming animal fats/used cooking into renewable green biofuel. A 50/50 joint venture with Valero Energy Corp, Darling Ingredients investment share in Diamond Green is approximately $662 million as of 2019.
Diamond Green currently produces 275 million gallons of renewable diesel from 2.3 billion lbs. (15%) of recycled US animal fats and oils. Due to Dimond Green's current expansion, the amount of produced biodiesel will increase to 675 million gallons in 2021.
