Jeroen Colpaert heads Rousselot, Darling Ingredients’ collagen and gelatin business, guiding its global strategy and operations to advance the company’s leadership in high-value specialty ingredients. He focuses on operational excellence, innovation in collagen-based solutions and the development of sustainable, science-driven production capabilities across Rousselot’s worldwide network.

 

Since joining Darling Ingredients in 2014, Jeroen has served in a range of leadership roles across rendering and specialty ingredient businesses, including Managing Director for Rendering and Specialties in Belgium and head of the Global Food Grade Casings business. In these roles, he oversaw multiple international acquisitions and integrations, strengthening the company’s global specialty platform and expanding its technical and operational expertise.

 

Jeroen has more than 25 years of experience in operations, business development and strategic leadership. Before Darling Ingredients, he managed several businesses at a predecessor of Linde Gas, gaining deep experience in industrial processes and complex operational environments.

 

He has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Ghent and an MBA from Vlerick Business School. Jeroen is fluent in Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.
