Robert (Bob) Day

Robert (Bob) Day leads Darling Ingredients’ Global Finance, Capital Planning, Accounting, Tax, Audit and Corporate Strategy across each of the company’s feed, food and fuel ingredient businesses. In addition, he is a board member at Diamond Green Diesel, a 50/50 joint venture with Valero dedicated to making renewable fuels.

With more than 30 years of experience in a variety of executive, commercial and finance roles in commodity-focused businesses, Bob joined Darling Ingredients in 2023 and became Chief Financial Officer in 2025. His background includes roles as Partner at Ascendant Partners, President & CEO at Ceres Global Ag Corp., Managing Director – Asia at ED&F Man and at Cargill, where he spent nearly two decades in executive and commercial roles across Asia, Latin America and the United States.

Bob earned his MBA from St. Thomas University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
