2024: A year of meaningful progress in sustainability and safety

I’m proud to highlight the meaningful progress we have made over the last year in our recent 2024 Sustainability Progress Report. This year’s report reflects our unwavering commitment to integrating sustainability into every facet of our business — from reducing emissions to advancing circular solutions to fostering communities.
Our progress is driven by purpose and powered by innovation. Here are a few milestones that underscore how we are turning ambition into action:
- Reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 5%, compared to 2023 — a meaningful step toward our 2030 climate goals;
- Improved workplace safety, with a 45% drop in our Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR), thanks to stronger systems, better training and a culture that empowers people to speak up and look out for one another;
- Invested more than $314,000 in youth development through our partnership with the National FFA Organization — supporting scholarships, grants and local chapters that inspire the next generation of leaders in agriculture, science and sustainability; and
- Upgraded about half of our Diamond Green Diesel Port Arthur, Texas, facility to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), positioning us among the world’s largest SAF manufacturers and advancing the future of low-carbon transportation.
