Carlos Paz has served as Executive Vice President – Renewables, North American Specialty and Global Risk Management since January 2026. In this role, he oversees Darling Ingredients’ Diamond Green Diesel joint venture, international commercial activity, company management of risks related to commodity price fluctuations and the company's bakery and restaurant services businesses. Carlos joined Darling Ingredients in January 2025 as Executive Vice President – Global Risk Management, Ingredients. Prior to Darling Ingredients he served as President and CEO of Ceres Global Inc, spent several years as a portfolio manager at Freepoint Commodities and has more than 20 years in a variety of trading and merchandizing executive leadership roles across North America, Latin America and Europe at Cargill Inc. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s in General Business Management and Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. Carlos currently serves on the board of Diamond Green Diesel.
