Mike Rescoe is a highly experienced finance executive who has played key roles in esteemed organizations throughout his distinguished career. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the travel services company Travelport Ltd., a privately held company controlled by The Blackstone Group, he successfully managed the financial operations from 2006 to 2009.
Before his tenure at Travelport, Mike served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the nation’s largest public power provider Tennessee Valley Authority from 2003 to 2006. Mike also previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at 3Com Corporation, a global technology manufacturing company specializing in Internet connection technology, from 2000 to 2002.
His career includes experience as an associate with Forstman Little & Company, a leveraged buyout firm, from 1999 to 2000. Mike also served as Chief Financial Officer of PG&E Corporation, a power and natural gas energy holding company from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, Mike held senior positions at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Bear Stearns, where he specialized in strategy and structured financing.
