Operating in Linkwood

Located on Linkwood Road just off Highway 50, our Linkwood, Maryland, facility employs more than 100 people. At the facility, we repurpose poultry by-products, primarily from the Delmarva Peninsula, into specialty ingredients used by our customers to produce feed for livestock and pets, and low-carbon feedstock used by our 50-50 joint venture Diamond Green Diesel to produce renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. In upcycling resources into valuable ingredients, we simultaneously divert significant volumes of material from landfills and minimize greenhouse gas emissions, helping make global supply chains more circular.

Darling Ingredients works with care and diligence to meet all applicable environmental regulations. We maintain close cooperation with the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and other agencies to support our shared environmental goals.
