Welcome to the new Darling Ingredients website – the product of an overhaul in the works since the day our Chairman and CEO Randall C. Stuewe brought me on board in January 2022 and charged me with telling the Darling Ingredients story in a clear, compelling way. To let people know who we are, what we do and why we do it.

 

What does it mean to tell Darling's story?

Our story is playing out every day at the more than 260 Darling Ingredients facilities on five continents that make more than 350 innovative products. Products that are repurposed from millions of tons of material from the animal agriculture and food industries.

 

We breathe new life into these resources, creating solutions that help to feed people, animals and pets, provide health and wellness solutions and fuel the world with renewable energy.

 

As a pioneer in circularity, we play a crucial role in making the world a better place for future generations – creating products that improve daily life while diverting material from landfill and incineration, and returning more water to the environment than we use in our operations – just to name a few of the ways in which sustainability is at the core of our business.

 

It’s powerful stuff. Our work addresses society’s concerns about wastefulness and offers solutions everyone can get behind. Frankly, it’s what motivates all of us at Darling Ingredients to report to work each day.

 

Our story is also one of significant growth and transformation. In the past five years, Darling Ingredients has grown remarkably through acquisitions and strategic investments. We’re extending our reach into new markets, applying our expertise and technologies to develop novel, innovative products.

 

This new website aims to break it all down – to explain that growth and what it all means to our company, our stakeholders and the world at large.

 

In bringing new brands, business and products into the fold, our mission continues to be to show the threads that connect them and how they tie into the larger Darling Ingredients brand.

 

I won’t lie, our story is not an easy one to tell. Quite frankly, there is no other company like us in the world. We are extremely diverse. Some would say complicated. But you know what? That’s where the beauty lies – in the diversity that truly defines Darling Ingredients.

 

I’m excited for our new website – I hope you are, too – because I’m excited about Darling Ingredients’ future and what we offer the world. I invite you to bookmark this site and check in often.
