Jan van der Velden

Executive Vice President – International Rendering and Specialties

Expertise

Jan van der Velden has served as Executive Vice President – International Rendering and Specialties since October 2017. Jan joined Darling Ingredients in 2014 through its acquisition of VION Ingredients, where he had been employed since 1989. Prior to his current role, Jan served as the Executive Vice President – ERS(Ecoson, Rendac and Sonac) from 2014 to 2017, Managing Director of ERS from 2012 to 2014, and the Vice President Raw Materials & Logistics from 2001 to 2012. He also served as the managing director of VION Ingredients Germany from 2005 to 2012 and was a member of the board of VION Ingredients.
